AI-native film studio Teevra Studios, co-founded by Manasva Bhargava and Parth Jaiswal, is entering the US, UK, and UAE markets as part of its next growth phase.

As AI-generated content moves from novelty to mainstream production tool, brands and platforms across the Gulf are watching how Indian studios are industrializing the technology for premium, broadcast-grade work. Teevra Studios, a Bengaluru-based AI-native video production company, is one of the clearest examples — and it’s now bringing that capability to the UAE.

Built by Outsiders, for a Market Priced Out of Good Storytelling

Teevra was co-founded in early 2024 by Manasva Bhargava, CEO, and Parth Jaiswal. Bhargava’s background is in product design — self-taught, with no formal film or design education and no prior industry connections — and he entered filmmaking through generative AI tools in 2022. Jaiswal’s background spans startup leadership and product strategy, most recently as a Senior Product Manager at Early Steps Academy, bringing an operating discipline that complements Bhargava’s creative and technical direction.

The founders built Teevra around a specific inefficiency in global advertising: good filmmaking has historically been rationed by budget. A brand’s flagship market gets the premium film; every subsequent market or audience segment — the regional adaptation, the smaller campaign, the additional language cut — gets a diminished version, because producing a fifth version costs almost as much as the first. For multinational and Gulf-based brands running campaigns across multiple markets and languages, that arithmetic is a familiar constraint. Teevra’s proprietary hybrid production model, which places real actors inside AI-generated environments without a dedicated virtual production stage, plus an in-house pipeline that preserves character consistency across an entire campaign, is designed specifically to remove it.

From Regional Studio to Global Production Partner

Today, Teevra is a 35-person studio producing advertising films, OTT title sequences, microdramas, and original IP end-to-end for clients including Netflix, Marico, STAGE, and Uber India, alongside campaign work for Eureka Forbes and UltraTech Cement. The studio deliberately avoided building its offering around any single AI vendor, keeping core production pipelines proprietary and in-house — a hedge against a technology landscape that shifts every few weeks — while holding a price floor rather than taking on work it couldn’t stand behind as it built trust with larger, brand-name clients.

The Netflix Milestone That Changed the Conversation

In August 2026, Netflix broadcast a fully AI-generated title sequence produced by Teevra for Operation Safed Sagar, a series on the Indian Air Force’s 1999 Kargil War air campaign, with Bhargava and Jaiswal credited as executive producers. “Until then, every conversation we walked into started with someone quietly asking whether AI work could survive a real quality bar,” Bhargava says. “After that, it didn’t.” For international buyers evaluating AI-native production partners, a major streaming platform’s willingness to air the work unfiltered functions as a credibility signal that’s difficult to replicate through marketing alone.

Why the UAE Is Next

Teevra’s international expansion into the US, UK, and UAE is structured around pilot engagements rather than pitch-stage sales conversations — a model suited to markets, like the Gulf, where brand and agency buyers are evaluating AI production capability for the first time and want to see delivered work before committing to a full campaign. The studio is also building specifically around microdrama, a short-form video format projected to grow from roughly $7 billion globally to $26 billion by 2030 — a category with clear cross-border and multi-language relevance for Gulf-based media and advertising buyers.

Growth Without Outside Capital

Notably, Teevra has scaled internationally without raising external funding. The company has grown roughly five-fold over two years while remaining profitable throughout, a discipline the founders trace back to decisions like closing the studio’s design wing in early 2025 to protect focus, even at a near-term revenue cost. Bhargava’s advice to founders navigating similar growth: make hard cuts faster than feels comfortable, and treat being an outsider to an established industry as an advantage rather than something to apologize for.
